Flatbread has been a major dietary staple for millennia. Its simple recipe fed countless people of the olden world. This simple three ingredient flatbread follows on that history, and takes but 10 minutes to create a ready to eat 12 inch piece.
- 1/2 Cup Bob's Red Mill Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 12 inch Cast Iron Skillet*
Pre-heat oven to 350 F. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, and then stir. Once thoroughly mixed simply pour all all contents into the oiled skillet. Use the back of the spoon to spread the simple dough over the bottom of the skillet.** Place the skillet into the oven for 10 minutes. Once done, remove, and immediately flip the flatbread to let cool a little. Enjoy!
* 12 inch skillet of any kind would likely work, but I enjoy cast iron
** Use cicular motions with the back of the spoon to spread the dough from the center to the edges
